20m in college.... as saturday is coming to an end, literally haven't talked to someone for 2 min +
i pursposefully went to campus just to see if theres anyone I could talk to.... saw a few "friends" (more like ppl who talk only if they want something or if they see me outside)...
they all have plans with their group/gf for the weekend...
here i am depressed, lonely and touch starved
sun and mon is a holiday... really hope i can get some socializing done
WHY THE FUCK IS IT SOO HARD FOR ME TO HAVE FRIENDS WHO CARE
i put in effort to check up on ppl but absolutely no one is there for me...
what the fuck is the point of living like this... honestly considering ending it... i have thought a lot about it and i came to the conclusion that it just isn't worth it...

History: Recruited into the Red Lotus as a teenager, Zaheer became one of the most dogged followers of the the group's philosophies before becoming its leader. Zaheer rescued the young P'Li from a warlord holding her captive, recruited her into the group, and involved himself ina lifelong romance with her. A student of the ancient Guru Laghima, Zaheer was a master martial artists and a deadly threat even without bending abilities.
Zaheer's deadliness became only further enhanced after developing airbending following Harmonic Convergence. Though he was imprisoned for 13 years following a failed attempt to kidnap the Avatar, Zaheer's newfound abilities allowed him to free himself and 3 of his cohorts. After assassinating the Earth Queen and almost killing the Chief of the Southern Water Tribe, Zaheer's successes were rendered bittersweet by the death of P'Li in battle.
P'Li's death allowed Zaheer to "let go [his earthly tether, and enter the void," and he became the second person in history to master the art of flight. Though the fulfillment of Laghima's philosophy was a great success for Zaheer, and he nearly completed his goal of ending the Avatar Cycle, he ultimately failed and was imprisoned for his crimes. When he was last seen he guided Avatar Korra in the spiritual arts, seeking to help her dethrone the dictator Kuvira who undid all his progress toward anarchy.
Powers: Considered a master martial artist even before gaining the ability to airbend, Zaheer's powers further enhanced his martial skills. He quickly mastered airbending itself, and became one of the only people in history to master self-sustained flight. He was also a master of the spiritual arts, able to enter the Spirit World on command and retaining unprecedented degrees of control.

2023.05.28 05:51 Sweet-Fun-Momof-2 Losing control…

In the past few weeks, I’ve gone from his year long smear campaign not sticking in public, now nor with my family, to him now trying to turn my 2 children against me. (12 & 15). He has never parented, I’ve been their only consistent safe haven and parent. He has not ever done dr visits, dentist, audiology, school conferences, homework, play dates, weekend fun…the list is endless. But suddenly he’s present and telling me that I cannot tell them to make their own beds?? Or do homework??? Or vacuum? Or empty dishwasher? Or take a shower and get to bed???? I’m now not even allowed to get them to bed on time on a school night. Said I’m coddling them/not letting them grow up. They should know what to do. They’re ‘young adults’. Hmmm. I said not at all, I’m parenting and reminding them what to do. They are 12 & 15. Not young adults in college. As always, I’m keeping structure. I’ve been told now to ‘shut up”. I’m ruining them. I’m controlling them. Leave them alone. And since he’s never played any roll, this is now so confusing to my kids. My 12 year old is now so rude to me if I even say ‘is your bed made?’ And throws a fit when she has to make it. Advice??? I really can’t with this new abuse tactic. As it is now warfar with the kids!!

History: Seeking to topple the divide not only between peoples and nations, but between that of the world and the Spirit World, the Red Lotus initially planned to release the ancient spirit of chaos Vaatu from imprisonment in the Tree of Time. When their member Unalaq betrayed their order in order to claim Vaatu's power for himself in becoming the Dark Avatar, their leader Zaheer realized the importance of ending the Avatar Cycle once and for all.
Many of the core members were imprisoned following a failed attempt to kidnap Avatar Korra as a child, but escaped more than a decade later when Harmonic Convergence granted Zaheer the gift of airbending. 2023.05.28 05:50 Spiritual-Bill-337 First Day Load Development 280AI - Think We Have A Winner

Been itching to get out to the range and test out this new 280AI. I shoot lefty because of an eye disease and finally said screw it and picked up a left handed gun. Tested out 6 different loads today all with 160gr Partitions and next time at the range I will start working more on this load with bigger groups and test out some Barnes 150gr TTSX.
Say what you want but this Savage is an absolute beast. Picked it up from a guy who never shot it for $600 took the money I saved and threw a NX8 on it. I lapped the bolt face and polished the trigger. It breaks at 2.7lbs which is perfect for me and my hunting needs. Worst case I was going to sell the rifle and build up a tikka in 280ai but I think I'll just keep this one for now.
This is the kind of shit that keeps you going back.

I’m 29 years old, I was born to an Iranian father and American mother. I’m autistic, highly functional, but still autistic nonetheless.
I’m an avid car enthusiast and have been as far as I can remember. I’m very passionate about cars and know a lot more than most about them. I fall short when it comes to intermediate to advance repairs unfortunately.
I have a very supportive friend circle but unfortunately that’s about as far as my support goes.
Last year going into this year has been hard. I lost my father September 2022. I point a lot of grief at myself because around the time of his death I was midway through work on my car and missed out on spending my last moments I could have had with him.
I’m currently in a 1 1/2 year loveless relationship with a woman who’s still married. And sadly, this has been a lesser evil than many relationships I’ve had in the past. The worst getting me stabbed at 16 years old. We broke up New Year’s Eve just before midnight right after I tried to tell her I loved her for the first time. She broke out in tears and told me she couldn’t do it anymore and broke up with me.
That in itself took toll on me. I lost a lot of weight, and blamed myself for not being good enough. I spent the first couple days in constant tears. And the spent the days after doing anything I could to rekindle the relationship.
We’re back together, but it literally doesn’t feel the same. Since January 1st we haven’t slept in the same bed and still don’t despite being back together. She sleeps in her bed and I get banished to my couch. We live together and have since April of 2022 and I regret moving in with her in some ways, but the garage apartment I was living at before was very run down and she pressured me to come live with her. Slumlord sold the property I was in and I ended up with an even worse landlord so I ended up moving out.
I’m working a job I hate so much and feel trapped. Here recently my car I’ve put a lot of work into got hit while I was at work. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened as literally two years ago the same thing happened to another vehicle of mine.
I bring this up because I believe this was the catalyst in my situation. Literally weeks before I started making plans of bettering my life. I was creating a mental step by step guide to setting myself on the right track. And was actively and successfully meeting goals. I ran with my weight loss and started exercising. My girlfriend was starting to seem to appreciate me and everything.
I genuinely had a mental breakdown over everything. I needed her support more than anything and I was shunned away. I’m trying so hard to make this work because I’ve decided it’s going to be my last relationship. Everyone my age is married or has kids and real nice lives, and then there’s me.
There’s been talks of us buying the house we’re living in. Which should be exciting but it’s not, it’s more scary to me than anything. Not from general nervousness for a first time home buyer, but mainly because I’m being expected to cover the down payment, however my name will not be on the deed. Just my girlfriend’s. And I don’t trust her or anyone anymore. I’ll more than likely give in. And if she screws me and leaves me with nothing, that’ll be the end of me.
I’m genuinely unsatisfied with my life and my situation. And with everything going on. I’ve given myself until my 30th birthday to make some sort of drastic improvement or I’m going to take my life. I’m tired of fighting for nothing and not mattering. I’m tired of being treated differently. I’m losing all hope.
This ended up longer than I intended and I apologize. There’s a lot more to this story, but it’s already a novel. I’m not so much asking for advice or anything. I just wanted tell my story before I lose myself completely.
If they don’t love me when I’m here, they’ll love me when I’m gone.

I had a 10+ year franchise. Game 17 finishes, and blanks the whole game out after finishing. Auto save won't load after going back in. I had a backup file in week 16. Damn, ok I'll replay the final 3 weeks. Get to the end of week 18, game shuts down again at the end of week 18. Try to load autosave, nope. Go back to to the week 16 manual save...no this time, won't load.
Lost almost 2 seasons.

History: Unalaq was born the second in the line of succession to lead the Northern Water Tribe after his older brother Tonraq. Though Unalaq successfully manipulated events so that Tonraq was banished from the Northern Water Tribe and Unalaq took his place on the throne, there was more power in the world Unalaq coveted: that of the Avatar. To make matters worse, the new Avatar was Tonraq's daughter, Korra.
Early in his life Unalaq joined the anarchist organization the Red Lotus, which believed in joining the Spirit World with that of the humans, freeing the dark spirit Vaatu, and dismantling the Four Nations. Though Unalaq aided the Red Lotus in planning to abduct Korra as a child, he betrayed the organization and abandoned them. Secretly Unalaq wanted the power of the Avatar for himself.
After many years of planning Unalaq's plans partially became a reality. The Spirit World was united with the human world and he became a new Dark Avatar after freeing Vaatu. The light beat out the darkness in the end, however, and both Vaatu and Unalaq were destroyed by Avatar Korra.
Powers: Unalaq was a powerful waterbender and a foremost spiritual expert. He could "spiritbend" water around a target to either bring peace to them or destroy their soul. He later fused with Vaatu to become the Dark Avatar, seemingly enhancing his powers and gaining new shenanigans.

2023.05.28 05:50 Either-Consequence-6 Tick Infection?

Hi, I don’t believe this is against the rules, as I’m not looking for any sort of diagnosis nor tick identification.
5 years ago I was covered in ticks (roughly 30,) and within 2 weeks I became sick. My physician did not treat nor test for Lyme, as I did not have a clear tick bite. In the following months I was diagnosed with depression as an explanation for my body pain and fatigue.
Fast forward five years, and a new physician (my fourth since then) has finally believed me when I say my symptoms are not purely from depression. I was referred to a neurologist who is puzzled by the nerve damage she has found in my leg and my unexplained neuro-inflammation.
I have been tested for Lyme 4 times now and I keep testing negative. Are there any other tick borne illnesses that could be causing problems 4 years later? I’m an otherwise healthy 23 year old male and the symptoms began immediately following the ticks, so I really want to exhaust this avenue before moving onto anything else.

International student. I need a place to store my bike securely over the summer while I'm off abroad, and I'm trying not to bother my friend too much & put my bike in his apartment alongside all my stuff. I know that sherman plaza and 1800 maple have indoor bike racks, and I have two solid u locks & a bike cover. Would it be safe for me to park my bike at either place for ~2 months (avoiding theft so to speak) or is there any better way to store my bike for the summer?

Hey fam. I was diagnosed with AVN in my right hip 2 years ago and I’m about 1 year post-op. Doing fine. Right hip feels great!
I started a new job in the same line of construction work I did before the surgery two weeks ago, again everything going fine with both hips. But just this past day or two I’ve started to feel the same kind of awkward pain in my left hip joint that I remember having felt in my right hip joint towards the lead up to my surgery.
The onset of pain was just so sudden in my left hip, compared to the onset of pain in my right hip (2-5 years) it makes me think I’m going crazy!
Anyone else have this type of experience?
